Bay Head Beautification Committee
Working in an advisory capacity for the Parks, Grounds and Recreation Department in an effort to preserve and/or enhance the native beauty of Bay Head as it relates to public land in the Borough, not private property.
The Beautification Committee consists of six at large members with an interest in town preservation and
beautification of public lands: two members each from the Business Association, local Garden Club and
Townspeople. The Council Liaison is D'Arcy Rohan Green and the committee meets on a monthly basis.
Following are pictures representing projects that were initiated and completed by the Bay Head Beautification Committee and other Borough contributors.

The pathway behind Veteran's Walk
connects to the Robertson Memorial
(designed and built by John Robertson
in honor of his late father, former
Mayor William "Bill" Robertson) that
includes plantings and a shady
seating area by Scow Ditch.
The appearance of the Borough's
Public Parking Lot was enhanced by
the planting of six Hackberry trees
that were contributed to the Borough.
These trees at maturity should have a
height of 35'+ and form a shady allee
nearly 100 feet long.
